MailSparc Terms of Service

Plain language, on purpose. MailSparc free accounts are operated by FieldSparc. By creating or using a free @mailsparc.com account you agree to the following.

What you get

• A free @mailsparc.com email address with 1 GB of storage, usable via our webmail or any IMAP/SMTP mail app.
• Sending is rate-limited (a modest hourly cap) to keep the service healthy for everyone.
• No SLA. This is a free service. We work hard to keep it up, but we make no uptime, delivery, or data-retention guarantees, and we may change or discontinue the service.

What we won't do

• We do not scan the content of your mail to build advertising profiles or sell it to anyone.
• We only process message content as needed to operate the service (delivery, spam/virus filtering, abuse investigation, backups).

What you must not do

• No spam. No unsolicited bulk email of any kind. All commercial email you send must comply with CAN-SPAM (and any equivalent law where you or your recipients live): truthful headers and subject lines, a working unsubscribe mechanism you honor promptly, and a valid physical postal address. Sending to purchased, scraped, or harvested lists is prohibited.
• No phishing, fraud, impersonation, malware distribution, harassment, or illegal content.
• No automated mass account creation, address reselling, or use of the account primarily as a relay for another system.

Abuse = termination

We enforce this aggressively, because abuse from one free account can hurt mail delivery for every other user on our infrastructure. We may suspend or delete an account, without notice, for any activity we reasonably consider abusive. Rate limits and quotas may be tightened at any time. Deleted accounts and their mail may be unrecoverable.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what your account does.
• Keep your recovery email current — it's the only way we can help you regain access.
• Don't rely on a free account as your only copy of anything important.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldSparc is not liable for lost mail, lost data, missed messages, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of a free account.
